Go LUTS: Sony Creative Conversions

Go LUTS: Sony Creative Conversions
Each LUT in this collection is rooted in iconic film stocks or creative references that have inspired us throughout our career. These aren’t just technical conversions, these are tools we use in my workflow to elevate a story visually. We are proud to share them with you.
Go Neutral - Film Emulation: Fujifilm 3513 D55
This is your go-to, everyday LUT. Designed as a neutral Rec. 709 conversion with a hint of film polish, Go Neutral brings a clean, cinematic balance to your footage without pushing any single tone too hard. It’s perfect for commercial work, interviews, or doc-style content where you want the colors to feel true, but still elevated. It offers natural contrast and smooth tonal roll-offs.
Go Matrix - Film Emulation: Kodak 2383 D65
A tribute to the cult-classic aesthetic of The Matrix, this LUT delivers a rich, cinematic green tone reminiscent of the digital dream world. Using Kodak 2383 with a D55 white point, Go Matrix balances contrast and saturation to emulate that timeless, surreal grade. It’s perfect for music videos, sci-fi projects, or anything that demands a different-world feel.
Go Dune - Film Emulation: Kodak 2383 D55
This one leans into a dusty, desert-toned aesthetic with soft, warm shadows and subtle bronze highlights. Like the color palette of Dune, it brings an earthy feel that pairs beautifully with natural light and outdoor landscapes. It’s a cousin to Go 32, but with less gloss and more grit. Think heat. Sand. Gritty minimalism.
Go B&W - Film Emulation: Kodak 2383 D55
Classic, cinematic black and white with raised shadows and soft highlight roll-off. Go B&W is designed to give your monochrome footage depth and dimension without feeling flat or crushed. Inspired by filmic contrast curves, it brings a timeless elegance that works for both narrative and editorial pieces. Nostalgia meets modern texture.
Go Blue - Film Emulation: Kodak 2383 D65
This cooler-toned LUT leans into a moody, cinematic blue that works beautifully for night scenes or emotionally heavy content. It pulls inspiration from Kodak 2383, but with a cooler D65 white point that gives it a gentle steel-blue wash. Go Blue creates atmosphere, whether you’re inside a club, under city lights, or crafting a stylized noir look.
Go 32 - Film Emulation: Kodak 2383 D65
This LUT is inspired by the warmth of a 3200K tungsten color temperature. It’s cozy, nostalgic, and perfect for golden hour footage or interiors lit with practicals. Go 32 uses the Kodak 2383 base and adds a toasty undertone that softens skin and brings out golden highlights without overbaking your image. It's warmth with intention.
Go ISO - Film Emulation: Fujifilm 3513 D55
Go Iso isolates and enhances color separation with a subtle emphasis on reds and warmer tones. Built off the Fujifilm 3513 base, it helps elements like skin tones, reds, and oranges pop while keeping everything else controlled. It's ideal when you want to direct attention to your subject without oversaturating the frame—great for fashion, performance, or urban visuals.
The Creator
My name is Clark Bishop, and I've been a filmmaker and business owner for the past eight years. My creative journey has taken me through countless projects, but it wasn’t until about three years ago that I truly fell in love with color grading. I realized that no matter how well something is shot, if it doesn’t have the right color grade, it can lose its impact. Color finalizes out emotion and tone of the story.
As someone who has spent nearly a decade shooting on Sony cameras, from the A6300, A6500, A7iii, Fs5 and all the Fx Lines, I’ve learned how powerful these sensors can be when paired with the right LUTs. I created this LUT pack specifically for Sony shooters who want to push the color potential of their work while honoring the character and flexibility of Sony’s color science.
